Ghanaian filmmaker, Peter Sedufia has advised people interested in pursuing a career in filmmaking to look beyond it as a passion and make money out of it.
According to him, there are several job opportunities within the film industry available to employ hundreds of people.
In an interview sighted on the YouTube Channel of the BlackStar International Film Festival, the movie director revealed that filmmaking is a more lucrative venture than many jobs one can find.

He however stated that it would require consistency for one to build on the passion and turn it into a lucrative business venture.
Mr. Sedufia, who has produced several hit Ghanaian movies including Keteke, Sidechic Gang, Away Bus, and Aloe Vera, began his professional career as a film director in 2016.

His most prominent work and award-winning film, Keteke, was produced while he was still a student at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), now known as the University of Media, Arts, and Communication (UniMAC).
He said that his passion for the stage and acting as a child drove him to pursue filmmaking as a professional career.
He added that filmmakers have the chance to explore their creativity in any form they deem worthy and are not required to go through the hustle of searching for jobs like other fields of endeavor may require.

He further advised budding moviemakers to take their passion seriously and make meaningful gains from it.
His films Keteke and Aloe Vera are currently on Netflix.
